The Moberly Area Council on the Arts recently received notice that it had received a Community Arts Grant through the Missouri Arts Council totaling $8,452. This funding will go toward the support of the 2011-2012 Performing Arts Season. Although the Missouri Arts Council received zero funding from the legislature for FY2012, the legislature approved a spending authority that allows MAC to spend from the balance in the MAC Trust Fund. MACA is grateful for this spending authority which pays for nearly half of the Performing Arts Series.
