Welcome to the 2011-2012 season of the MACA Performing Arts Series. This is when I start to get really excited. The season is completely scheduled, and I can look over the next nine months and see exactly what they hold for our audiences. I know that you’re going to be grooving to Brian Owens in the fall and swiping a tear during the Army Band’s patriotic tribute in November. And I can’t wait to kick your Christmas spirit into high gear at this year’s Cocoa and Carols with the Brett Family Branson Show. Your kids and grandkids are going to be jumping to the tunes of Babaloo and Mr. Stinky Feet and gasping at the antics of The Great Kaplan. And you’re going to have some spellbinding nights out with Ronald Radford’s Flamenco guitar and the Ron Brockman Memories Orchestra. It’s all here. The groups you know and love and some you’ll come to love this season. Thanks for joining us again. I hope you enjoy this series as much as we’ve anticipated bringing it to you.
We want to thank all of our donors at each level for making it possible to bring the world to Moberly each season. We have loyal and faithful supporters who make the magic happen. If you would like to join this group, see the last page of this brochure to find out how to get more involved.
Thank you for nearly 40 years of arts support in the Moberly area. Now, sit back and enjoy the show!
Yours for the arts,
Jaime Morgans
MACA Director
